Weekly Photo Challenge: Foreign

I take the “foreign” challenge differently. Living in Manila for 6+ years made me familiar to a surrounding that is of tall buildings. I wake up everyday with the sound of the busy street, people in a hurry, cars stuck in traffic, warm climate for almost the entire year and air that let’s just say “breathable.” The last 2 days (Nov 1 and 2) took me to a familiar place but at the same time made me feel that I am a stranger to the surrounding. Me, my nanny and A traveled back to Baguio to spend the holiday. We stayed at Mama’s home or let me say “haven.” It’s 30 minutes from the city, surrounded by trees, air was cool and fresh, quiet except for the sound of kuliglig (cicadidae) and Mama’s dogs. I know that this is the kind of place I want to live in (near a lake :)).

      1. I’ve been to Baguio, stayed there for a while but that’s a long story and something that I’m only willing to share in person. But yeah! I’ll definitely pay a visit to my favorite place sometime. 🙂
